MRI Technologist – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an MRI Technologist to join its imaging department on a day shift schedule. This 14-week contract runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.

Clinical Scope

You will perform MRI imaging specializing in:

Diffusion imaging (non-brain applications)
Gradient Echo imaging
Image post-processing, including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction techniques
Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
Perfusion imaging

You'll work with adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year MRI experience (first-time travelers considered)
BLS and ARRT certifications required
Scrubs: Pewter gray

Schedule & Expectations

Every other weekend
Call required
Float within scope of practice as needed
Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
Holiday work required based on assignment overlap (1–2 holidays = no holiday RTO; 3 holidays = 1 holiday RTO may be considered)

Compliance

Full compliance documentation must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing and finalized by the Tuesday before your start date. Late compliance results in a 2-week delay. RTO requests must be finalized at submission; no changes post-offer or onsite.
