RN – Labor and Delivery
Position Overview
Seasonal contract RN position in a specialized labor and delivery unit. 13-week assignment, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift. No on-call required. Four weekend shifts per schedule.
About the Unit
The facility's labor and delivery unit is a Level 4 maternal center serving high-risk obstetric patients across all gestational ages. You'll work with a tenured, supportive team in an environment where leadership is actively involved in patient care support. The unit is currently undergoing renovations to modernize patient care spaces.
Clinical Scope
- Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal
- D&C, C-hyst, and postpartum procedures
- Circulating and responsibilities in a high-acuity setting
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Proven experience with high-risk maternal patients
- Operating room circulating and skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong team orientation and multi-tasking ability
Preferred
- 5+ years of labor and delivery experience
