Med/Surg Tele RN – 3x12 Rotating Shifts
About the Role
The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to join the team on a rotating 3x12 schedule. You'll provide care to medical and surgical patients on telemetry monitoring, including those on ventilators. Potential float assignments to related units and the ED caring for similar patient populations.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12 rotating: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands
- At least every other holiday required
Contract Details
- Duration: 18 weeks (13-week option also available)
- Start: October 5, 2026
Requirements
- 12+ months permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
- Current permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at submission
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from past 12 months
Orientation & Assessments
During orientation, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment. Both require an acceptable score to proceed. You have two attempts maximum.
What to Know
- Background check and drug screening required
- No open cases or license hits accepted
- BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Extensions available up to 18 months with required breaks
