Night Shift RN – Cardiac Med/Tele
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Cardiac Med/Tele unit. You'll provide care to patients with cardiac and telemetry monitoring needs on a busy night shift.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
- Willing to work charge nurse role (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a cardiac med/tele setting
- Monitor and respond to telemetry data
- Float to other units as needed based on facility census and acuity
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling to meet unit needs
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg or telemetry
- Non-U.S. candidates: 2 years U.S. work experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred
- 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg or telemetry
Contract Details
- 16-week assignment
- Guaranteed 112 contract hours
- Block booking may be requested (not guaranteed)
