Med Surg Tele

Medical/Telemetry RN – Night Shift | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract

This Med/Tele unit provides acute care for a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry patient population. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing a range of acute conditions, and delivering general medical care at a solid intermediate-acuity level.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Minimum 1 holiday worked per contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: October 27, 2026
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Clinical Expectations

• Float to other units as needed based on facility census
• Must be willing to work in a charge nurse capacity (training provided if needed)
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience
• Non-U.S. candidates must have at least 2 years of U.S. clinical work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience
