Medical-Surgical RN | Chattanooga, TN

This 13-week contract places you on a busy Medical-Surgical unit in Chattanooga, TN, caring for patients with a diverse range of acute medical conditions. The unit manages patients with respiratory illnesses, renal disease, GI conditions, and requires competency with telemetry monitoring, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule
• Holiday rotation and float rotation apply

Unit Support

The interdisciplinary team includes Clinical Coordinators, a Unit Secretary, Patient Care Technicians, and Case Management — providing strong support across each shift.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Medical-Surgical experience required, including comfort with:
• Respiratory and renal disease management
• GI illnesses
• Telemetry
• CVCs and indwelling catheters
• Heparin infusions
• Strong communication, teamwork, compassion, and collaboration skills
