Physical Therapist – Inpatient Acute Care

Manchester, NH | 12-Week Contract

The facility's inpatient physical therapy department is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a collaborative, experienced team providing acute care rehabilitation across multiple units.

The Role

You'll evaluate and treat patients with a focus on cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic diagnoses. Daily assignments typically keep you on 1–2 floors, allowing for continuity of care and manageable caseloads of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour shift.

Schedule & Flexibility

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible start between 7:00–8:00 AM)
• Monday–Friday primary; 1 weekend shift per month
• Self-selected weekend shifts

Scope & Equipment

Work with basic rehabilitative equipment including portable parallel bars, portable stairs, ceiling lifts, and Sara Stedy. You'll perform patient evaluations and therapeutic interventions in an acute care setting.

Requirements

• Current New Hampshire Physical Therapy License (must be in hand at time of application)
• BLS certification
• Acute care experience required
• Vestibular experience preferred but not required

Floating

You'll provide coverage across inpatient units and the emergency department (NICU excluded).
