Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Belton, MO
Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: December 14 | Shift: 4 x 12-hour days (07:00–19:00) | Guaranteed Hours: 48/week
This Med-Surg Telemetry unit provides care for a diverse general medical and surgical patient population. The team manages post-procedure patients and those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring across a range of acuity levels.
Clinical Scope & Procedures:
- EKG, echocardiography (Echo), TEE, EEG
- Colonoscopy and general surgery support
- Wound VAC management
- Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
- Vital signs monitoring and glucometry
Schedule & Expectations:
- Day shift: 07:00–19:00
- 3 weekend shifts per month
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling available for travelers
Required Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — all required; candidates without these will not be considered
Unit Culture & Support:
- Structured orientation to unit policies and procedures provided
- Daily multidisciplinary rounds (PT, OT, ST, and case management co-located on the same floor)

Dress Code:
- RN/LPN: Grey scrubs
- PCT/CNA: Navy scrubs
