Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

Join the emergency department serving all ages with comprehensive acute care. This fast-paced unit is designated as a New York State Stroke Center and manages a full spectrum of emergency presentations requiring quick assessment, critical thinking, and strong clinical skills.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts (7 AM – 7 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Clinical Environment

Requirements

• Active New York State Nursing License in good standing
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• No floating requirement
