Labor and Delivery Nurse – 13-Week Contract
About the Role
Join a high-volume perinatal service delivering over 500 babies per month. You'll work in a fast-paced, acuity-appropriate environment supporting low-risk to high-risk pregnancies, labor management, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. The facility maintains 24-hour in-house obstetric and anesthesia coverage with dedicated NICU support on-site.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start date: September 27, 2026
Required Credentials & Experience
- Active Registered Nurse license (Texas)
- BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics
- Advanced Life Support certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery setting
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of perinatal clinical experience in high-volume delivery
- S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
