Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech
Position Overview
Join the Radiology department as a Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech. You'll perform general ultrasound imaging for adult and pediatric patients, including biopsies, in a two-room ultrasound suite. This is a general ultrasound role—no vascular or echocardiography.
Shift & Schedule
- 9-hour days: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- On-call: 1 weekday night per week and every 4th weekend
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Orientation: 1 week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Required Credentials & Experience
- ARRT certification (required)
- ARDMS certification (required)
- BLS certification
- X-ray experience required
- Valid driver's license (must be within 50-mile radius)
- Important: You may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility (including CHI or Dignity) within the past year.

- Supervisor present on each shift

- All time-off requests must be submitted upfront; additional PTO will not be approved after assignment begins
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment
