CT Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology
Position Overview
The facility's Diagnostic Radiology department is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a fast-paced team. You'll support imaging across the operating room, emergency department, and inpatient/outpatient settings, working with a well-staffed department focused on quality patient care.
Shift & Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts, Friday–Sunday
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Radiologist in-house until 6 PM; on-call coverage after hours
- Call frequency and holiday requirements will be discussed during your interview
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience
- CT experience required
- Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II certification with CT
- ARRT and Fluoroscopy certification (state of California)
- BLS (AHA)
- COVID vaccination required
- Level II Trauma experience preferred
What You'll Do
- Operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging
- Work with C-arms in the OR
- Perform scanning across multiple settings: OR, ER, inpatient, outpatient
- Document via the facility's EMR system
- Be a self-starter, ready to work independently in a high-volume environment
Work Environment
This is a busy radiology department where you'll encounter diverse patient populations and fast turnaround times. Night shifts operate with fewer resources. You should thrive in a dynamic setting and be comfortable adapting quickly.
Additional Details
- Wear teal scrubs (provided if entering the OR)
- 1–2 shift orientation
- Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts per contract
