SICU Travel Nurse – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week day shift assignment. You'll work 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) in a surgical intensive care setting, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, clinically demanding environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in ICU nursing
- Active Ohio or Compact State license (required at time of submission)
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from work within the past 12 months
- Willingness to work at least every other holiday
What to Expect
You'll participate in orientation assessments including an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate evaluation; passing both is required to continue (you have 2 attempts). Pre-start and annual online modules (average 6–15 hours) are part of the role.

Compliance Notes
Background checks and BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. A 10-panel drug screen (including nicotine) is required. The facility does not accept open background cases or license hits.
Extensions up to 18 months are available; thereafter, a 6-month break is required.
