CT Technologist – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work in a busy acute-care imaging department performing a wide range of CT studies across all patient populations.
Shift & Schedule
- 5 × 8-hour shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Rotating Saturday shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- On-call: One weekend per month
- Flexibility required — no scheduling requests can be accommodated
Clinical Scope
You'll perform CT imaging including:
- Abdomen, chest, head, and pelvis studies (with and without contrast)
- Brain perfusion and carotid imaging
- Cardiac studies (calcium scoring, coronary angiography)
- Trauma imaging
- Vascular CTA (pulmonary embolism, aorta)
- 3D rendering and advanced post-processing (multiplanar reconstruction, maximum intensity projection, volume rendering)
- Contrast media preparation and administration
- Pediatric and adult acute-care patients
Daily census: approximately 60 patients across neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years acute facility experience
- Active California license (no pending or temporary licenses)
- ARRT-CT, BLS (AHA or ARC), Fluoroscopy Certification, CRT
- High school diploma/GED + accredited radiology program diploma (DAPIP verified)
- Two supervisor-level references from the past 12 months
- First-time travelers welcome
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- 24-hour orientation included
- Pre-start compliance modules required
