Registered Nurse – Birthing Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Birthing Unit on the night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). This is a 13-week contract with flexible scheduling options.
Shift & Schedule Options
- 36 hours/week: 3x12-hour shifts
- 40 hours/week: 2x12-hour shifts + 2x8-hour shifts
- 48 hours/week: 4x12-hour shifts
- Guaranteed minimum: 36 hours weekly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Current circulating experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Recent EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification, intermediate level or higher
Preferred Certifications
- Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics
- Perinatal NCC Certification (Maternal Newborn Nursing – Level I or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing – Labor & Birth)
- First Latch (Breastfeeding Certification)
