Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Corpus Christi, TX
13-Week Contract | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week
This high-energy Emergency Department opportunity is ideal for an experienced ED nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, acute-care environment. The night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) runs 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 13-week contract beginning October 5, 2026.
The Unit
The ED team manages a broad spectrum of emergency cases with a strong emphasis on neurological and cardiac presentations. Nurses regularly perform or assist with STEMI response, Stroke/TPA administration, and RSI procedures. The department prides itself on rapid throughput, including an exceptional door-to-needle time for TPA.
Staffing & Schedule
- Night shift: 5–6 RNs plus ER Tech support
- Collaborative team with experienced, tenured staff
Required Certifications & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience as an RN
- Active BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, and TNCC
Preferred Skills
- Strong background in neuro and cardiac emergency nursing
- Comfort in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
Dress Code
- Royal blue scrubs preferred (not required)
- No competitor logo apparel
