Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 16-week contract. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with every other weekend scheduled and no call requirements.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend
- No on-call
- 2 out of 3 holiday commitment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Clinical Role
You'll deliver care in a fast-paced emergency environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Be prepared to float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita as needed.
Required Credentials & Licenses
- Active RN license (verification required)
- Nursys license verification
- Completion of facility-specific competency exams and checklists upon onboarding
- Current immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit testing
- Criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license or state ID
