Medical ICU Nurse – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for its Medical ICU. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity unit caring for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions.

Patient Population & Clinical Scope

You'll manage complex cases including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, alcohol use disorder, substance use disorder, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Daily responsibilities include ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and disease-specific protocols.

Requirements

• 3+ years of nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (current)
• Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Location: Atlanta, GA
