Night Shift RN – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift coverage on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. This is an 18-week contract (13-week option also available).
Shift & Schedule
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
- 19:00 – 07:30 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Night shift, 7 days per week operations
Requirements
- Current Ohio or Compact state RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 12 months of permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHHS preferred
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or Charge RN from work in the past 12 months
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
What to Expect
You'll deliver direct patient care on a busy med-surg/telemetry unit, managing patients with varied diagnoses and acuity levels. During orientation, you'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments (maximum 2 attempts to pass).
