Medical ICU Nurse – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for its Medical ICU. This is a fast-paced unit managing high-acuity patients with complex medical conditions.
Clinical Scope
You'll care for patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, alcohol and substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The role requires proficiency in ventilator management and IV drip administration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of ICU nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong technical and assessment skills in high-acuity care
Schedule & Contract Terms
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour days)
- Contract Duration: 110 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
- Location: Atlanta, GA
