Orthopedic Nursing – Night Shift, 16-Week Contract

The Opportunity

The facility's orthopedic unit is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week night shift assignment. You'll care for post-operative orthopedic patients and those with acute orthopedic conditions in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Shift & Scheduling

• 12-hour nights: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. rotating to 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other week
• At least 1 holiday shift required during the contract
• Flexibility with schedule adjustments as needed

What We're Looking For

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS and NIH certifications
• 2+ years recent acute med-surg, telemetry, neuro, or ortho experience
• 2+ years of U.S. work experience (required for non-U.S. candidates)
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Comfort with charge nurse responsibilities (training provided)
• Residency 50+ miles from the facility

• 16 weeks | 112 guaranteed hours
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Start date: September 22, 2026
