Operating Room Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN to join the surgical team in a fast-paced operating room environment. You'll work in a multi-specialty surgical setting performing both scrub and circulating duties.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 12-hour days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, varied days
- Pattern: 12x3 (12 hours on, 3 days off)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll support surgeries across multiple specialties:
- Orthopedic procedures
- Bariatric surgery
- General surgery
- Plastic surgery
Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience (specialty-specific)
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Holiday Expectations
- Must work 2 major holidays from: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
- Must work 1 minor holiday from: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
