Surgical Technologist – OR/CVOR

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to work in a busy operating room environment supporting both general surgery and cardiovascular cases. You'll be part of a high-volume OR with multiple surgical specialties and the opportunity to expand your technical skills across diverse procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 8-hour days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW)
• Call required; First to Float rotation
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Unit Overview

The facility operates 12 general OR suites, 1 dedicated CVOR suite, and 1 hybrid room, averaging 14 cases daily.

Clinical Scope

You'll assist with:

• General OR: Orthopedic (total joints), gynecological, urological, trauma, ENT, general surgery, plastics, vascular, neuro, and robotically-assisted (Da Vinci) procedures
• CVOR: Open heart, valve replacements, thoracotomy, and cardiothoracic trauma cases

You must be comfortable with both CV and regular OR cases and have experience in trauma and orthopedic surgery.

Requirements

• Current BLS Certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA
• Valid surgical tech license

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during this 13-week assignment.
