Labor & Delivery RN – Nights | Syracuse, NY
13-Week Travel Contract | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
A high-risk regional perinatal center in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for night shift coverage. This active unit averages 10+ births per day and provides comprehensive obstetric care through labor, delivery, and two-hour recovery before transition to the postpartum unit.
Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- No blocked scheduling
- Guaranteed hours
Clinical Scope
- High-risk labor and delivery with OR capability
- Care includes intrapartum management, fetal monitoring, and immediate postpartum recovery
- OR circulating experience strongly preferred
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NRP
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of L&D RN experience required
- 3+ years with OR circulating experience preferred
Dress Code
Scrubs provided on-unit via scrub machine.
