Operating Room RN – 10-Hour Day Shift
Location: Atlanta, GA
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (10-hour days, 4 days per week)
Contract Duration: 89 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
About the Role
The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced RN to join a high-acuity surgical team. You'll support trauma and complex surgical cases in a fast-paced environment, with particular emphasis on neuro and vascular procedures.
Schedule & Requirements
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week
- On-call, weekend, and holiday availability required
- No block scheduling
- Must be comfortable with frequent schedule changes
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (state-specific)
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- High competency rating on skills checklist (neuro and vascular demonstrated)
- Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard
- Personal device with reliable access to required applications
- Adaptability and strong communication in a dynamic surgical setting
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, manage instrumentation and supplies, coordinate with the surgical team, and maintain meticulous attention to safety and sterility protocols. Your expertise in specialized procedures will be essential.
