Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse — Sioux City, IA

This 13-week contract places you on a Medical-Surgical unit providing direct patient care as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The unit manages a general med-surg patient population across a range of acuity levels, with heparin drip management among the clinical skills valued on this floor.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other weekend required
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses may be required

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 28, 2025
• Orientation dates available: 9/28 and 10/12
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Med-Surg experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Iowa RN license (or compact eligibility)
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (experience with a major clinical EMR system required)
• First-time travelers welcome

Preferred Qualifications

• Heparin drip experience

• One supervisory reference form completed within the last two years
• Valid driver's license

Candidates who have been employed by the facility system (full-time, PRN, or float pool) within the past 12 months are not eligible for this assignment.
