Operating Room RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week assignment in the operating room. You'll work Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Clinical Details
You'll support a high-volume surgical program handling orthopedic, neurological, and general surgery cases. Weekend surgical volume averages approximately 10 cases per day. This role requires trauma surgery experience and comfort working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Colorado)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Trauma surgery experience preferred
- Valid driver's license (60-mile radius)
- Ability to be in-state for orientation week (first-day modules may be remote)
Scheduling & Expectations
- Friday–Sunday schedule; 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shifts
- No weeknight or call requirements
- No floating to other units
- Holiday work required only if your scheduled weekend falls on a holiday
- Self-scheduling available
- No scrubbing required for this RN role

- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts if assignment is less than 13 weeks)
