Labor & Delivery Nurse – 13-Week Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for both established travelers and first-time travel nurses.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Day, 3x12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Days: Every other weekend required
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Greenville, TX
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Charge experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- No call required
Unit Details
You'll work in a busy L&D environment supporting diverse patient populations and diagnoses. Floating as needed within scope is expected. The facility welcomes collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams.
Important Notes
- Block scheduling is available—discuss during interview
- Keep requests for time off to a minimum, especially in the first two weeks
- All time-off requests must be approved and documented prior to assignment start
- Plan to work some holidays during your contract
