Med Surg Tele

RN – Med-Surg/Telemetry | Rochester, NY | Night Shift

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a busy Med-Surg/Telemetry unit in Rochester, NY, caring for acute care patients requiring cardiac monitoring and close clinical oversight.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday, as needed
• Start date: September 29, 2026

Unit & Clinical Scope

• Acuity ranges from medical-surgical to telemetry-monitored patients
• Core skills include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team activation, IV therapy, peripheral line care, oxygen and non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Floating required within the med-surg skillset
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; acute care experience within the past 6 months required
• Active New York Single State RN license required at time of submission (NY is not a Compact state)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required (valid NIHSS must be included with submission)
• Electronic charting proficiency required
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible
• First-time travelers are welcome
• No more than 10 days of pre-approved time off; requests must be submitted at time of submission
