Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift role on a medical-surgical unit providing telemetry monitoring and care to patients with varying acuity levels.

Shift & Contract Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Contract Duration: 18 weeks
• Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current, permanent Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand at time of application
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• One professional reference from a manager, charge nurse, or supervisor in your specialty (from past 12 months)

Clinical Expectations

You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients across the medical-surgical spectrum. ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety competencies will be assessed during orientation; you'll have up to two attempts to achieve a passing score.

• Background check and fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required
• Orientation will include facility-specific modules (average 6–15 hours)
• Contract extensions available up to 18 months total
