Medical-Surgical RN | Wheeling, WV | 13-Week Contract

This Med-Surg unit manages a diverse acute-care population, including patients with CHF, COPD, ia, urosepsis, AKI, cellulitis, and surgical diagnoses such as cholecystitis and appendicitis. RNs are expected to titrate heparin drips based on APTT results and manage patients on intermittent BIPAP. Telemetry is available and monitored remotely by monitor technicians.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Weekends scheduled as needed, typically every other weekend
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Contract Details

• Start Date: September 6, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Unit Structure

• One charge RN on the floor with a patient assignment
• PCTs provide support on the unit
• Travelers float first based on census needs
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

Additional Requirements

• BSN not required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Valid, unexpired driver's license required at submission
• Any licensing history must be disclosed at time of submission
