Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Med-Surg Tele nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit with telemetry monitoring, managing patients across a range of acuities and diagnoses.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
• Every third weekend
• Every other holiday
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Scope

You'll care for post-operative and acute medical patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, and manage common procedures and interventions typical of a med-surg telemetry environment. Patient populations include general surgery recovery, cardiac patients, and acute medical admissions.

Requirements

• Active nursing license (RN or LPN, per facility requirements)
• Current CPR certification
• Immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Background check, drug screen, and fit test (completed during onboarding)
• Specialty-specific competency testing

All standard credentialing, compliance, and onboarding documentation will be completed prior to your first shift.
