Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

Join the cardiovascular ICU team for a 10-week travel assignment. You'll provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity cardiac setting, managing complex post-procedural and critical cases.

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: Day, 2×12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Call: Required; 1-hour response time if called in
• Float: Must be willing to float across all campuses as staffing needs dictate
• Holiday Policy: No time-off requests approved for major holidays or holiday weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent, continuous ICU experience
• Current Ohio or compact-state RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Strong work history; candidates with terminations or contract cancellations will not be considered

Clinical Scope

You'll manage dysrhythmia monitoring and treatment, arterial and central line care, cardiac drip titration, and care of patients on intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Impella devices. Experience with post-cardiac catheterization interventions and sheath removal is essential. Additional skills include ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP support, and pre/post-cath care.

Facility Information

The facility is smoke-free. You'll complete up to 8 hours of required orientation modules prior to start.
