Registered Nurse – Comprehensive Medical / Telemetry Unit
Zanesville, OH | Day Shift | 13-Week Contract
This travel RN role is based on a Comprehensive Medical Unit with occasional floating to other Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirement
- Available start dates: September 21 or October 19
Clinical Scope
You'll care for a diverse medical-surgical population across varying acuity levels. Float assignments span multiple specialty units, so adaptability across med-surg care environments is essential. Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation are core daily responsibilities — candidates will be assessed on this competency on day one.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms
- Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation (must be current and independently functional — no on-site training or refresher support is available)
- Active BLS certification
Additional Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per contract period
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; post-confirmation RTO requests cannot be accommodated
