MRI Technologist | Asheville, NC

This contract MRI Technologist role is based in Asheville, NC and offers a long-term opportunity in an outpatient imaging environment performing both contrast and non-contrast MRI studies.

Schedule & Contract Details

Shift: 10-hour days
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–10:30 PM (rotating coverage), Saturday–Sunday 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Rotating weekends required
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Start date: August 24, 2026

Clinical Scope

The imaging department performs a full range of MRI studies, including:

Contrast and non-contrast MRI
Breast MRI (preferred experience)

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

ARRT MRI registration (required — non-registered candidates will not be considered)
Breast MRI experience (strongly preferred)
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
