Telemetry Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
Join the telemetry unit for a 13-week assignment working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a full-time role with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Unit
You'll care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a high-acuity setting. The facility serves as a regional referral center with strong programs in trauma, stroke care, and cardiac services, including open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and assess patients on telemetry systems
- Respond to arrhythmias and patient changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Document care and communicate patient status clearly
- Support a patient-centered care environment
Requirements
- Active RN license (North Carolina)
- BLS certification required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to work the night shift schedule
