Oncology Nurse – Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join its oncology team. This is a Monday–Friday position with no weekend or holiday commitments, offering schedule flexibility between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Key Requirements

• License & Certification: Valid Pennsylvania RN license and current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• Chemotherapy Certification: Completion of ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) bio/chemo or fundamentals course, or ability to complete within 2 weeks of hire

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients following established protocols
• Administer medications and chemotherapy treatments under established guidelines
• Collaborate with providers to support patient education and coordinate care
• Engage patients, families, and caregivers in care planning
• Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing principles, diagnostic procedures, and medication effects
• Proficiency with medical terminology and office procedures
• Basic familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Clear, effective communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make confident decisions under pressure
• Competence with treatment equipment and various medication administration methods

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 4, 2026
• Hours: 40 hours per week, guaranteed
