CT Technologist – 18-Week Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a CT Technologist for a high-volume, fast-paced imaging department. You'll perform 30–40+ scans per 12-hour shift in a busy acute care environment serving primarily emergency department patients and functioning as a primary stroke receiving center.

Schedule & Flexibility

  • Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating (Day: 11:00–23:30 | Night: 18:00–06:30)
  • Self-scheduling based on seniority
  • Weekends: May exceed every other week to meet unit needs
  • Holiday Commitment: Must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Open to Additional Shifts: Willing to volunteer for shifts outside your contracted times (indicate flexibility in submission)
  • Contract Duration: 18 weeks; ASAP start

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years CT imaging experience
  • Current BLS, ARRT (CT or R), CA CRT, and CT certifications
  • Compact license in hand at submission
  • Community hospital experience required
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume setting
  • May assist with patient transport as staffing needs require

Clinical Scope

  • Abdomen, chest, pelvis, head, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar imaging (with/without contrast)
  • Coronary CTA, vascular studies (PE, aortic), brain perfusion
  • Emergency and acute care procedures; pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
  • Contrast media preparation and administration; radiation safety protocols

64-slice Toshiba Aquilion and 64-slice GE LightSpeed scanners

Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
