Outpatient Physical Therapist – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility's rehabilitation services team is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in New London, NH. You'll deliver individualized care to patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries, with a focus on safe, effective recovery.

Clinical Scope

This outpatient role encompasses:

• Arthritis and post-surgical therapy
• Functional capacity evaluations
• Gait disturbance and vestibular/balance treatment
• Pelvic therapy (incontinence rehabilitation, male and female)
• Neurological disorder management
• Post-concussion treatment
• Orthotic and splint fabrication support

Schedule & Requirements

• Hours: Day shift, 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Holiday Commitment: Must work two of the following blocks if scheduled:
• Thanksgiving Day + weekend after
• Christmas Eve–Christmas Day + weekend after
• New Year's Eve–New Year's Day + weekend after
• RTO: Maximum 5 days; all requests must be submitted with your application
• Vehicle Required: You must have your own transportation

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years outpatient PT experience (required)
• Active New Hampshire PT License or Compact
• Active AHA BLS certification
• Supervisory reference from past 2 years of employment
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
