Position Details

• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: August 11, 2026

About the Role

Join the kidney clinic team in an outpatient setting serving transplant recipients and donors. You'll provide nutritional assessment and counseling, conduct frailty evaluations, and deliver weight and lifestyle recommendations to patients pre- and post-transplant. You'll also participate in the patient selection committee approximately 4 days per week for brief sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dietitian evaluations focused on nutritional status
• Conduct frailty testing and assessments
• Provide evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle guidance
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• See approximately 15–20 patients per clinic day

What You'll Need

• Current Registered Dietitian credential (required)
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Strong collaborative skills with an interdisciplinary team
• Transplant or renal experience preferred

Work Environment

Business professional or dark gray scrubs. No float requirements or on-call duties. No weekends or holidays.
