Cath Lab RN – Circulator | Arlington, VA | 13-Week Contract
This position is within an active cardiac catheterization lab requiring a skilled circulator with experience across a range of interventional procedures. The role involves a fast-paced environment supporting both elective and emergent cases.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30) or 3x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30), based on departmental need
- Start Date: September 29, 2026
Call Requirements
- 2–3 call shifts per week (mix of short and long call)
- Short call (weekdays): 17:30–20:00 post-shift as backup; stays if cases are still running
- Short call (weekends): Backup coverage 07:00–14:00 Saturday and Sunday
- Long call: Overnight emergency call 17:30–07:00; must be on-site within 30 minutes of initial page
- Weekend long call: Friday 17:30 through Sunday 07:00; team responds to both emergent and non-emergent cases
- Approximately 2 call weekends per 6-week period
Required Experience & Credentials
- Cath Lab Circulator experience required, including RLHC/PCI, Peripheral, and EP circulating
- Active Virginia RN license in hand at time of submission (pending licenses will not be considered)
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Flu vaccine required October 1–March 31

- Orientation includes required EHR training (in-person class mandatory)
- RTO requests should be minimal and submitted upfront; holiday coverage expected
