Registered Nurse – Respiratory / Med-Surg | Nights | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week travel RN contract is based primarily on a Respiratory unit that manages patients with acute respiratory illness. The role may include occasional float coverage across other Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement

Available Start Dates

• September 21st or October 19th

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry — a competency assessment is conducted on day one
• Demonstrated EMR proficiency is required and must be documented at time of submission; no on-site orientation or remediation is available for this skill

Important Contract Notes

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours over the course of the 13-week contract
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; post-confirmation RTO requests cannot be accommodated

This position is ideal for an experienced Med-Surg or Stepdown nurse comfortable working in a fast-paced respiratory environment with potential cross-unit float responsibilities.
