- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed)
- Weekends: As needed
Position Overview
This Physical Therapist Assistant role is based at a facility in Monticello, Iowa. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver rehabilitative care to patients across appropriate clinical settings. Candidates should be comfortable managing a full caseload and adapting to varying patient needs and acuity levels.
Requirements
- Active PTA license (verification required prior to start)
- Color vision screening
- Specialty-specific competency testing
- Skills checklist completion
- Current immunization records: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap (optional), Influenza (optional), COVID-19
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot)
- 10-panel drug screen
- Criminal background check, education verification, and OFAC/GSA/OIG clearances
- Child and Adult Dependent Abuse training
- Physical/health statement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health records (preferred but not required)
This is a full-time contract position with consistent daytime hours and a defined 12-week engagement — a strong fit for a PTA seeking stable, structured placement in a community setting.
