Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 28, 2026
- First-time travelers welcome (minimum 1 year of experience required)
Clinical Scope
The MRI department serves a diverse patient population spanning adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with approximately 20 visits per day. You'll perform a broad range of imaging studies, including:
- Brain, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral), and spinal trauma protocols
- Musculoskeletal studies: shoulder, knee, hip, foot, hand, upper and lower extremity
- Body imaging: abdomen, pelvis (male and female), chest, MR aortogram
- Vascular studies: MRA and MRV of the head, neck, and peripheral vessels
- Contrast preparation and administration; peripheral IV starts
- Radiation safety and isolation/PPE protocols
- Float coverage within the department is expected
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (R) — Radiography
- MRI Certification
- BLS
- Active New York State license — must be in hand at time of submission
Additional Requirements
- Electronic health record experience is required for this role
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Requested time off cannot exceed 10 days for the contract period
- Pre-start orientation modules required (partially billable)
