Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract
Saratoga Springs, NY | Nights | 13 Weeks
This combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department operates at a high daily volume, caring for patients across all age groups — neonates through geriatrics. The unit provides a fast-paced environment with strong interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, radiology, phlebotomy, and social services.
Shift: Night, 3x12-hour (19:00–07:30)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: September 21, 2026
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Active New York State RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- ACLS preferred; TNCC preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required; 5 years preferred
- Must be proficient in telemetry interpretation and 12-lead EKG acquisition

EKG Competency:
Candidates must complete a remote EKG assessment within 72 hours of signing, then pass a facility-administered rhythm exam requiring ≥85% overall accuracy and 100% identification of all critical rhythms. A remediation/retest pathway is available at the facility's discretion.
Additional Details:
- Float within the hospital may be required based on skill set and manager discretion
- Call-off allowance: up to 3 times per contract
- Pre-approved time off: up to 7 days
- Orientation: approximately 24 hours; required online modules must be completed by 7:00 AM the Wednesday before start
- Flu vaccine required by November 1
- Candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
