Cardiac Telemetry Nurse – Hartford, CT
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its cardiac telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing patients with cardiac conditions and monitoring complex arrhythmias.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
Clinical Requirements
- Demonstrated experience administering and managing cardiac drips, including amiodarone and Cardizem
- Strong telemetry monitoring skills and arrhythmia recognition
- Ability to respond quickly to patient changes and coordinate with providers
Required Credentials & Certifications
- Current RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Standard onboarding requirements: background check, drug screening, immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19), TB screening, and fit test
