Operating Room Surgical Tech

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced OR surgical technologist with 18 months of strong experience across multiple specialties: General, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, Minor Vascular, and GI surgery.

Schedule & Shift Details

• Mixed shift rotation over 8 weeks:
• Five 8-hour shifts (6:15 AM–2:45 PM)
• Four 10-hour shifts (6:15 AM–4:45 PM)
• Three 12-hour shifts (6:15 AM–6:45 PM)
• Call coverage required: 6–8 weekdays and 2 weekend days per cycle (may be split or combined)
• 36 hours per week

Operational Scope

The OR typically runs 5 surgical rooms until 5:00 PM, scales to 2 rooms until 7:00 PM, then transitions to one room with on-call coverage. You'll support a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment with diverse case types.

Requirements

• 18 months of hands-on OR experience across listed specialties
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (current)
• Willingness to float to other departments and facilities as workload demands
• Flexibility with schedule variations
