Advanced PCU RN — Nights | Atlanta, GA | 13-Week Contract

This advanced progressive care unit manages high-acuity cardiac patients in a setting that mirrors ICU-level care. The primary patient population includes post-CABG surgical patients within the first 24 hours, requiring chest tube management. The unit also cares for patients supported by LVADs; facility-provided training is available for those without prior LVAD experience. Ventilator management is not required.

Shift Details

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• 13-week assignment with available start dates every Monday

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of stepdown or cardiac/critical care experience within the past 3 years
• ACLS required
• Upon start, candidates must pass a proctored rhythm identification test (written, not multiple choice); two attempts permitted
• Ventilator experience not required

Licensing

• Active Georgia RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)

Additional Details

• Scrubs: Navy blue
• Interviews are conducted by the facility
