Medical-Surgical Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll join a dynamic med-surg team providing care to patients across the surgical continuum, from pre- and post-operative management to wound care and recovery.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Start dates available every Monday
• Navy blue scrubs required

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting
• Manage wound care and post-operative assessment
• Administer PCA and epidural pain management
• Assume charge nurse duties as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Surgical nursing experience
• Wound care experience
• PCA/epidural administration experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Georgia or compact nursing license (must be in hand)

Additional Requirements

• Available to travel within a 50-mile radius
• Non-local travelers only
