Medical-Surgical Nurse – 13-Week Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN for a 13-week assignment on a busy med-surg unit. You'll provide direct patient care, manage wound care, and support post-operative recovery in a dynamic clinical environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Available to start every Monday
• Navy blue scrubs required

Clinical Scope

You'll care for medical and surgical patients across the full spectrum of acuity, including post-operative management, wound care, and pain management (PCA/epidural administration). Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Surgical nursing experience
• Wound care expertise
• PCA/Epidural administration experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• GA state license or current compact license in hand

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Atlanta, GA area (50-mile radius)
• Guaranteed hours: 90 contract weeks
• Out-of-area candidates only
